LoreCards can be incredibly useful in many situations, to name a few:
> Manager joining a new team: what better way to learn about each of their new employees than through their LoreCard
> New team member joining a new team: Managers can ask their new employee to "fill out your LoreCard" and immediately learn how this employee likes to be rewarded and recognized
> New leader joins: Easily view your employees and the employees of your employees LoreCard
> Managers shopping for a meaningful reward for their employee: Think of it like a 'Christmas Gift Guide' but for employees, its better to know your employee prefers a book over a gift card, than to assume everyone appreciates gift cards the same
Lore cards are a short, personalized digital card your employee fills out and managers/leadership have access to. The card contains how each employee likes to be recognized and it includes:
> Recognition preferences: Do they like recognition in a public setting, private messages, gifts, etc.
> Reward preferences: Should they get a reward/gift, what would they prefer
> Meaningful milestones: Do they like to celebrate their birthday, work anniversary, etc.
No. Lore cards are lightweight, fun to fill out, and designed to be immediately useful - not buried in a spreadsheet and owned by ONE person. They're built for action, not data collection. We also have functions to ensure they are continually updated, so managers always have their employees' most up to date preferences.
Price wise we are more economical, since we aren't venture capital backed we are not forced to grow at all costs, so we can afford to stay affordable long term. Regarding features, platforms like Bonusly and Kudos have feature bloat, we are feature focused. Their focus is on gamified points and public performances, CrewLore focuses on helping managers learn how each person wants to receive recognition and rewarded. They cater to their higher paying enterprise companies, we focus on small 10-200 employee companies that don't have the luxury to pay $2-3 per employee per month.
Setup can be as fast as 45 minutes: 5 minutes to create your organization's account, 10 minutes to invite employees (0 minutes if they join using a company email), and 10-20 minutes to customize your organization's settings. After that employees spend 3-5 minutes creating their Lore cards. Most teams are up and running within a week!
